CS-mount standard
The CS-mount standard is a variation of the original C-mount standard. It is also used to connect industrial cameras with various optics. The only difference is that CS-mount lenses are positioned 5mm closer to the CMOS sensor or CCD sensor.
However, from time to time, this slight difference leads to some confusion: CS-mount lenses cannot be attached to C-mount cameras. The reason for this is explained at: C-mount lens.
